The Cold Weather Layering System is a radical re-design of cold weather clothing for the U.S. Marine Corps. Included in this system is a Polartec® Wind Pro® Desert Marpat printed jacket and Polartec® Wind Pro® with Hardface® Technology Watch Cap. The fabric for the jacket was chosen for its wind resistance, warmth without weight, comfort and water repellency. The Watch Cap is made from Polartec® Wind Pro® with Hardface® Technology which is abrasion and wind resistant, water repellent, and provides comfort for the user.
