All entrants whose photos are selected for inclusion in the Polartec Family Album will be eligible to win one of approximately 100 Polartec garments.

Photo submissions will be rated on scale of 1-5 to determine if eligible for use in the Polartec Family Album. Judges will have sole discretion in rating the photos to determine if they are desirable for use in the Polartec Family Album.

Contest begins at 11:00 AM ET on February 1st, 2021 and ends at (and all entries must be received or postmarked by) 3:00 PM ET on May 31st, 2021.  Entry forms that are not fully completed will be disqualified.  Sponsor is not responsible for any lost, late, delayed, postage-due, illegible, mutilated, damaged, incomplete or misdirected entries/requests or prize claims, and Sponsor not responsible or liable for internet, website, computer, technical, hardware, software, telephone or other communications malfunctions, viruses, thefts, errors or failures of any kind.  Use of automated entry devices are prohibited and will lead to immediate disqualification.  In the event of any dispute as to the identity of a contestant based on an e-mail address, entry will be deemed to be made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address from which the entry is submitted.  All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.

  1. Eligibility.  Contestant must be a legal U.S. resident and 18 or older.  Void wherever prohibited or restricted by law.  Employees of Sponsor and its affiliated companies, advertising and promotional agencies, manufacturers or distributors of Contest materials and their immediate families (parents, children, siblings and spouses) in the same household are not eligible.
  2. Random Drawing.  Up to 100 winners will be selected.  The Sponsor will conduct the drawing on or about 12:00 PM ET on May 31st, 2021. The Sponsor’s decisions on all matters relating to this Contest are final and binding.  Odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received and quality of photographs submitted.  Winner will be notified by telephone, e-mail or mail.  If Sponsor cannot contact the potential winner within a reasonable time or if the prize-winning notification or the prize is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner in a random drawing.
  3. Prize.  Approximately 100 prizes will be awarded consisting of a Polartec garment.  Total approximate retail value of each prize: $150.00 including shipping.  Winners are solely responsible for all other costs including federal, state, and local taxes and fees that may apply.  Prize is non-transferable; no substitutions, exchanges, or cash redemptions except by Sponsor due to unavailability in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. 
  4. General. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.  SUBJECT TO ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS.  Prizes will be awarded in accordance with any and all laws, rules and regulations (including but not limited to laws, rules or regulations at the state, municipal or local level).  Contestants are solely responsible for making sure that an award of the prize would be in compliance with the foregoing.   In the event that the awarding of the prize should violate any applicable law, rule or regulation or policy, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner will be selected from all remaining eligible entries received. 
  5. Name of Winner.  For a list of winners (available between June 1st, 2021 and December 31st, 2021), visit Polartec’s Instagram or Facebook page. You may send a request along with a stamped, self-addressed envelope to the Sponsor at the address provided below.

As a condition of winning, Sponsor will require winner to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release, a Copyright Release, and where lawful, a Publicity Release.  By entering Contest, winner and all contestants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and release and hold the Sponsor and its affiliates and representatives and all their directors, officers and employees, harmless from any and all losses, damages, injuries, costs, rights, claims, and actions of any kind (including without limitation, property damage, personal injury and/or death) in connection with the Contest and the prize.  By accepting the prize, winner grants to Sponsor the right to use his/her name, likeness, hometown and biographical information, for any lawful purpose, including but not limited to advertising, publicity, trade and promotion purposes, without further permission or compensation, except where prohibited by law.  Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, suspend or cancel part or all of this Contest should non-authorized intervention or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Contest.  In such event, Sponsor may award prize in a random drawing from all eligible entries received up to the date of cancellation or suspension. Sponsor may prohibit a contestant from participating in the Contest or winning a prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines that the contestant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest by cheating, deception, or other unfair playing practices or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other contestants or Sponsor representatives.

By submitting your competition entry and any accompanying materials, you (i) assign to the Promotor all your intellectual property rights with full title guarantee; and (ii) waive all moral rights, in your competition entry and otherwise arising in connection with your entry which you may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world. You agree that the Promotor may, but is not required to, make your entry available on its website and any other media and in connection with any publicity of the competition. You agree to grant the Promotor a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence, for the full period of any intellectual property rights in the competition entry and any accompanying material, to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and sub-licence the competition entry and any accompanying materials for such purpose.

Prix :

Tous les candidats dont les photos sont sélectionnées pour être ajoutées au Polartec Family Album seront admissibles à gagner un article parmi 100 environ de vêtements Polartec LC23 et jusqu’à 2 chaises dotées de housses en polaire Polartec.

Les photographies envoyées seront notées sur une échelle de 1 à 5 afin de déterminer leur admissibilité au Polartec Family Album, un album numérique qui honore toutes les personnes adeptes du style de vie outdoor, en s’appuyant sur l'évaluation des juges de Polartec. Les juges décideront, à leur seule discrétion, de la note donnée à la photo et de sa désirabilité dans le Polartec Family Album.

Le concours commencera à 17 h 00 CET le 1er février 2021 et se terminera à (toutes les participations devront avoir été reçues ou affranchies avant) 21 h 00 CET le 31 mai 2021. Les formulaires de participation incomplets seront disqualifiés. Le Commanditaire décline toute responsabilité en cas de participation/demande ou réclamation de prix perdue, tardive, retardée, envoyées en port dû, illisible, abîmée, endommagée, incomplète ou égarée. Le Commanditaire ne pourra en aucun cas être tenu responsable de toute défaillance ou erreur ni de tout virus, vol ou dysfonctionnement de quelque nature que ce soit lié(e) à Internet, au site web, à l’ordinateur, à l’équipement technique, matériel et logiciel, au téléphone ou à tout autre moyen de communication. L’utilisation de logiciels d’inscription automatique est interdite et entraînera la disqualification immédiate du candidat.   2. Tirage au sort. Jusqu’à 100 gagnants seront sélectionnés pour remporter un vêtement Polartec LC23 et 2 gagnants supplémentaires pour remporter une chaise faite sur mesure avec housse en polaire Polartec. Le Commanditaire procédera au tirage au sort à, exactement ou approximativement, 18 h 00 CET le 31 mai 2021. Les décisions du Commanditaire concernant toutes les questions relatives au Concours sont définitives et contraignantes. Les chances de gagner dépendent du nombre de participations admissibles reçues et de la qualité des photographies envoyées. Le gagnant sera informé par téléphone, e-mail ou courrier postal. Si le Commanditaire ne peut pas contacter le gagnant potentiel dans un délai raisonnable ou si l’avis d’octroi du prix ou le prix lui-même est renvoyé à l'expéditeur faute d'avoir pu être délivré à son destinataire, le prix sera annulé et pourra être accordé à un autre gagnant choisi par tirage au sort.
  3. Prix. Une centaine de prix, chacun composé d’un vêtement Polartec L23, et jusqu’à 2 prix, chacun composé d'une chaise sur mesure avec housse en polaire Polartec, seront attribués. Valeur marchande approximative totale de chaque vêtement LC23 offert : 150,00 $, frais de port inclus. Valeur marchande approximative totale de la chaise sur mesure : 1 000 €. Les chaises à gagner peuvent être différentes de celles représentées en images pour montrer les lots ; il n'y a pas deux chaises identiques. Les prix sont incessibles. Aucune substitution, aucun échange ni rachat au comptant, sauf en cas d'indisponibilité par le Commanditaire, qui attribuera alors un autre prix de valeur égale ou supérieure.

Entrants may only participate in the contest once, in case of multiple entries, only the last photo will be considered. Judges will have sole discretion in rating the photos to determine whether they are desirable for use in the Polartec Family Album.

Contest begins at 11:00 AM ET on February 1st, 2021 and ends at (and all entries must be received or postmarked by) 3:00 PM ET on May 31st, 2021. Entry forms that are not fully completed will be disqualified. Organizer is not responsible for any lost, late, delayed, postage-due, illegible, mutilated, damaged, incomplete or misdirected entries/requests or prize claims, and Organizer not responsible or liable for internet, website, computer, technical, hardware, software, telephone or other communications malfunctions, viruses, thefts, errors or failures of any kind. Use of automated entry devices are prohibited and will lead to immediate disqualification. In the event of any dispute as to the identity of a contestant based on an e-mail address, entry will be deemed to be made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address from which the entry is submitted. Entrant guarantees that he or she holds all rights to the photo submitted, as well as the unlimited exploitation rights to all photo parts, that the photo is free from third-party rights and that no personal rights are violated in case persons / people aside from entrant are depicted. Entrant consents with this photo. This consent includes without restrictions any private and/or commercial use – publication, distribution, use, adaption and dissemination – in digital or print form, by the photographer or by third parties, in particular the purpose described for this contest. This consent is not limited in time or geographical scope and includes all forms of distribution and publication. Entrant herewith renounces already now any further claims for forbearance regarding the afore-mentioned use of his/her image.

Should one or more persons aside from the Entrant be depicted in the photo in an identifiable manner, the relevant person(s) must agree to the publication of the photo for the described purpose in the attached separate form. Should third parties still assert claims for infringement of their rights, the Entrant shall indemnify Organizer against all and any such claims.

Entrant as the photographer hereby grants and irrevocably assigns to Organizer the transferable, irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide right, title and interest in and to the photo, unlimited in terms of territory, time and content, including all rights to use, reproduce, publish, edit, market, store, adapt, assign, sell, dispose of, distribute, have distributed, publicly and privately display, communicate, publicly and privately perform, transmit, have transmitted, create derivative works based upon, and promote the photo or excerpts of the photo (as such may be edited and modified by the Organizer in its discretion) in perpetuity, for editorial, commercial, promotional and all other purposes (including posting on Organizer-affiliated websites, and/or other Organizer-selected media) without any prejudice to the media used, i.e. print, online, social media, in particular the purpose described for this contest. Entrant hereby disclaims any rights, including any copyright or any other intellectual property right, in or to the photo following the assignment contemplated hereby, including the right to be named as author.

  1. Eligibility. Contestant must be a legal German resident and 18 or older. Void wherever prohibited or restricted by law. Employees of Organizer and its affiliated companies, advertising and promotional agencies, manufacturers or distributors of Contest materials and their immediate families (parents, children, siblings and spouses) in the same household are not eligible.
  2. Random Drawing. Of the photos selected for inclusion in the Polartec Family Album, max. 100 winners will be selected for the prize of a Polartec LC23 garment and an additional 2 winners for a custom-made chair covered with Polartec fleece fabric. The Organizer will conduct the drawing 12:00 PM ET on May 31st, 2021. The Organizer’s decisions on all matters relating to this Contest are final and binding. Odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received and quality of photographs submitted. Winner will be notified on June 1st, 2021 by telephone or e-mail. Winner has to confirm within 72 hours counted from notification by email that he/she accepts the prize. If Organizer cannot contact the potential winner within a reasonable time or if the prize-winning notification or the prize is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner in a random second drawing.
  3. Prize. A maximum of 100 prizes will be awarded consisting of a Polartec, LC23 garment and a maximum of 2 prizes of a custom-made chair covered with Polartec fleece fabric. Total approximate retail value of each LC23 garment prize: $150.00 including shipping. Total approximate retail value of the custom-made chair: EUR 1,000.00. Winners are solely responsible for all other costs including federal, state, and local taxes and fees that may apply. Der Teilnehmer garantiert, dass er über alle Rechte an dem eingereichten Foto sowie die uneingeschränkten Verwertungsrechte an allen Bildteilen verfügt, dass das Foto frei von Rechten Dritter ist und dass keine Persönlichkeitsrechte verletzt werden, falls neben dem Teilnehmer noch weitere Personen abgebildet sind. Der Teilnehmer ist mit diesem Foto einverstanden. Diese Einwilligung umfasst uneingeschränkt jede private und/oder kommerzielle Nutzung – Veröffentlichung, Verbreitung, Nutzung, Bearbeitung und Weitergabe – in digitaler oder gedruckter Form, durch den Fotografen oder durch Dritte, insbesondere den für diesen Wettbewerb beschriebenen Zweck. Diese Zustimmung ist zeitlich und räumlich nicht begrenzt und umfasst alle Formen der Verbreitung und Veröffentlichung. Der Teilnehmer verzichtet bereits jetzt auf weitere Unterlassungsansprüche bezüglich der vorgenannten Nutzung seines Bildes.

Sollten neben dem Teilnehmer eine oder mehrere Personen identifizierbar auf dem Foto abgebildet sein, muss/müssen die betreffende(n) Person(en) der Veröffentlichung des Fotos zu dem beschriebenen Zweck auf dem beigefügten separaten Formular zustimmen. Sollten Dritte dennoch Ansprüche wegen Verletzung ihrer Rechte geltend machen, so stellt der Teilnehmer den Veranstalter von allen derartigen Ansprüchen frei.

Der Teilnehmer als Fotograf räumt dem Veranstalter hiermit unwiderruflich das übertragbare, unwiderrufliche, unbefristete, weltweite, räumlich, zeitlich und inhaltlich unbeschränkte Recht ein, das Foto zu nutzen, zu vervielfältigen, zu veröffentlichen, zu bearbeiten, zu vermarkten, zu speichern, zu adaptieren, abzutreten, zu verkaufen, zu veräußern, zu verbreiten, verbreiten zu lassen, öffentlich und privat auszustellen, zu kommunizieren, öffentlich und privat aufzuführen, zu übertragen, übertragen zu lassen, davon abgeleitete Werke zu erstellen und das Foto oder Ausschnitte des Fotos (die vom Veranstalter nach eigenem Ermessen bearbeitet und verändert werden können) auf unbestimmte Zeit für redaktionelle, kommerzielle, werbliche und alle anderen Zwecke zu nutzen (einschließlich der Veröffentlichung auf mit dem Veranstalter verbundenen Websites und/oder anderen vom Veranstalter ausgewählten Medien), unbeschadet der verwendeten Medien, d. h. Print, Online, soziale Medien, insbesondere den für diesen Wettbewerb beschriebenen Zweck. Der Teilnehmer lehnt hiermit alle Rechte, einschließlich des Urheberrechts oder anderer Rechte an geistigem Eigentum, an dem Foto nach der hiermit vorgesehenen Abtretung ab, einschließlich des Rechts, als Urheber genannt zu werden.

  1. Berechtigung. Der Teilnehmer muss einen legalen Wohnsitz in Deutschland haben und mindestens 18 Jahre alt sein. Ungültig, wo immer dies gesetzlich verboten oder eingeschränkt ist. Mitarbeiter des Veranstalters und seiner verbundenen Unternehmen, Werbe- und Promotionsagenturen, Hersteller oder Vertreiber von Wettbewerbsmaterialien sowie deren unmittelbare Familienangehörige (Eltern, Kinder, Geschwister und Ehepartner) im selben Haushalt sind nicht teilnahmeberechtigt.
  2. Zufallsverlosung. Von den Fotos, die für die Aufnahme in das Familienalbum Polartec ausgewählt werden, werden max. 100 Gewinner für den Preis eines Polartec LC23 Kleidungsstücks ausgewählt werden und weitere 2 Gewinner für einen maßgefertigten Stuhl, der mit Polartec Fleece-Stoff überzogen ist. Der Veranstalter führt die Ziehung am 31. Mai 2021 um 12:00 PM ET durch. Die Entscheidungen des Veranstalters in allen Angelegenheiten im Zusammenhang mit diesem Wettbewerb sind endgültig und bindend. Die Gewinnchancen sind abhängig von der Anzahl der teilnahmeberechtigten Einsendungen und der Qualität der eingereichten Fotos. Die Gewinner werden am 1. If Sponsor cannot contact the potential winner within a reasonable time or if the prize-winning notification or the prize is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner in a random drawing.

Prize.  At least100 prizes will be awarded consisting of a Polartec, LC23 garment and 2 prizes of a custom-made chair covered with Polartec fleece fabric.  Total approximate retail value of each LC23 garment prize: $150.00 including shipping.  Total approximate retail value of the custom-made chair: EUR 1,000. Prize chairs may vary from the prize image depicted; no two chairs will be identical. Winners are solely responsible for all other costs including taxes and fees that may apply. Prize is non-transferable; no substitutions, exchanges, or cash redemptions except by Sponsor due to unavailability in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded.  The prize is to be shipped via postal service from Polartec at no cost to the winner within approximately 30 days from the drawing.

For good and valuable consideration received, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, I hereby grant to Polartec, LLC (and its subsidiaries, affiliates, agents and others working for it and agree to release, discharge and hold harmless such parties from any claims in relation thereto) an absolute, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, and unrestricted (also waving any prior approval or review rights) permission and right to take, use, reuse, reproduce, modify, publish, republish, transmit, distribute, and publicly display any picture, image, likeness, voice, audio, sound, performance, or video of myself and/or of any materials (including copyrighted items in those materials) I have supplied (all of which I own or have permission to grant to Polartec, LLC, in whole or in part, individually or combined with or connected with any other material, and/or in connection with my own or a fictitious name, without any restriction as to any alteration, modification, derivation, composition, or distortion, in all forms and media now or hereafter known, for any legal purpose and without any further compensation.

I hereby agree that all original works of authorship produced by me resulting from my participation in the Project shall belong exclusively to Polartec, LLC, and I agree that I shall have no rights in the content provided for the Project. All works of any kind resulting from my participation in the Project shall be considered a work made for hire under the United States Copyright Act and shall be and remain the sole and exclusive property of Polartec, LLC. If for any reason any such works would not be considered a work made for hire under the applicable law, I hereby irrevocably assign all copyrights that I may have in such works to Polartec, LLC, including all rights of every kind in such works for the entire duration of the copyrights.

I affirm that I am fully competent and able to contract in my own name, without breach of any prior agreement or applicable law. I have read the above release and copyright assignment prior to its execution, and I fully understand the contents and consequences thereof.
