**To celebrate 100 years since Hans Kristjánsson founded 66°North**, the Icelandic outdoor brand has unveiled an **exclusive special edition Snæfell jacket** in the Red Knot colorway. **One of 66°North’s signature shell designs**, the Red Knot Snæfell SE Shell combines **a century of heritage** with [**Polartec® Power Shield™ Pro**](https://www.polartec.com/fabrics/weather-protection/power-shield-pro) to keep you dry and comfortable in unpredictable weather.

**Soft**, **light** and **flexible**, [**Polartec® Power Shield™ Pro**](https://www.polartec.com/fabrics/weather-protection/power-shield-pro) **ensures waterproof and windproof performance** without the stiff feel traditionally associated with hard shells. The fabric’s advanced membrane delivers **best-in-class protection** **while allowing moisture vapor to escape**. Its comfortable cut and weather-resistant materials are complemented by an **adjustable**, **helmet-compatible swivel hood with visor**, a **backpack-compatible articulated fit**, and **adjustable cuffs and he**m – making the Snæfell equally **suited to hiking**, **skiing**, **cycling** and everyday use.

Named after Iceland’s largest freestanding mountain, the limited-edition Snæfell SE Shell Jacket arrives as **66°North celebrates a century of making protective clothing**. And because it is[ **crafted with Polartec® Power Shield™ Pro**](https://www.polartec.com/fabrics/weather-protection/power-shield-pro), changing weather is one less thing to think about.
