Quality men's outfitters put recycled content at forefront of collection

Boggi Milano, the high-quality men’s outfitters has looked to Polartec® for recycled technical fabrics to include in their latest collection of men’s outerwear.

Boggi Milano specialises in apparel designed specifically for men. Only quality fabrics, preferably with an organic or sustainable background make the grade. This autumn/winter Bluesign® approved, Polartec® Alpha® constructed from 100% recycled content will be premiering in its latest collection.

Polartec Alpha has long been a favourite for walkers, climbers and road cyclists. In fact, of all the ground-breaking fabrics Polartec has to its name, Polartec Alpha might be the most innovative. An insulation connected to a solid mesh core means there is no migration of fibres through the face fabric – that’s if a face fabric is used. Polartec Alpha really is that stable. What’s more, the breathability that this construction allows is second to none. Gone are the days where the wearer is constantly shedding layers only to pop them on again when temperatures plummet. Polartec Alpha works with the wearer’s micro-climate, ensuring excess body heat is continuously released hence its tagline “on-the-go-warmth”.

Boggi MILANO Gilet and Bomber jacket both use a version of Polartec Alpha that has been constructed from plastic bottles saved from landfill. To date Polartec has repurposed more than 1.8 billion bottles in this way, turning them into durable, technical fabrics. Both garments feature an outer fabric which, like Alpha, has been Bluesign® approved.
