Polartec® fabrics made with our permanent flame-resistant (FR) yarn technology, are engineered not to melt, drip, or ignite when exposed to extreme heat sources. By adding flame resistance to our top Polartec® base and insulation lines, we protect you from the elements and from intense heat and flames. Polartec® FR fabrics provide enhanced protection in hazardous environments and meet NFPA 70E and ISO-EN 11612 standards for flame resistance. Unlike non-FR fabrics, which can burn or melt, our FR-treated fabrics offer long-lasting safety without compromising comfort and durability.
