Inspired by the rugged terrain of the Liège-Bastogne-Liège, Santini’s new collections are a brilliant celebration of the legendary La Doyenne: separate kits for men and women coordinate with a jacket and a range of accessories featuring a signature mountain range motif.

The 24^th of April brings a double whammy on the road cycling calendar: the classic men’s Liège-Bastogne-Liège but also the Liège-Bastogne-Liège Femmes. La Doyenne is the oldest of the five Monuments of Cycling and since its first edition in 1892, has been raced in the Wallonia region of Belgium. The riders traverse a stunningly magical landscape with gorgeous forests as their backdrop.

The Santini Liège-Bastogne-Liège Jacket guarantees an aerodynamic, high-performance fit. Made from Polartec® Power Shield® Pro, a waterproof fabric with a 5,000 mm rating, it offers complete protection from the wind and rain, whilst still allowing the body to breathe. The thermoplastic reflective design across the chest and back of the jacket ensures increased visibility, keeping you safe in darker conditions, and the beautiful forest green colour, inspired by the woodland backdrop of the race, perfectly matches the rest of the official LBL kit. Santini’s Creative Director Fergus Niland says, “we chose the green of the forests the race runs through as the colour for the line.” The Santini Liège-Bastogne-Liège Jacket is ideal for temperatures ranging from 0-10°C.

In addition to the jacket, the new Liège-Bastogne-Liège collection comprises a jersey, bib shorts, technical t-shirt and base layer.
