Haglöfs is giving one of its most popular fleece styles an update for Fall 2026 with the new Buteo Mid II Jacket. Lightweight, warm and breathable, this versatile fleece jacket is designed to work just as well on its own as it does layered under a shell. But what we’re really excited about is that the Buteo Mid II Jacket is also the first product in the world to feature Polartec® Standard Issue Black, a shared black standard developed by Polartec and Haglöfs to simplify sourcing and production while replacing the waste associated with producing nearly identical black colors across the outdoor industry.
With the Buteo Mid II Jacket, Haglöfs has updated one of its most popular styles with lightweight, warm and breathable Polartec® microfleece made from 100% recycled polyester. Designed to work as either an outer layer or an insulating midlayer, the versatile jacket combines everyday comfort with the performance and durability you expect from Polartec® fabrics. And because this easy-to-wear fleece marks the inaugural use of the Standard Issue Black colorway, Haglöfs and Polartec® are showing how agreeing on one shade of black is as good for the wearer as it is for the planet.
The Haglöfs Buteo Mid II Jacket will be available in Standard Issue Black and other color options from Fall 2026 in Haglöfs stores and online.
