Pioneering fabric developer Polartec announces a special collaboration with Xenith Apparel, introducing unprecedented next-to-skin performance for football.
With a mission to find and use premium fabrics with purpose-built details to elevate the game and take training to the next level for all athletes, the two brands were drawn to each other. A first in the football world, Xenith’s latest collection takes a Polartec technology originally used by the outdoor market and the military for hot weather adventure and the most intense physical training conditions, and employs it as a training or game day shirt.
The Xenith Apparel Under the Lights Polartec Delta Sleeveless and Short Sleeve shirts feature Polartec® Delta™ fabric, which uses unique texture and composition to manage moisture and increase airflow, maximizing the body’s natural evaporative cooling response. Polartec Delta is composed of both hydrophilic and hydrophobic yarns to harness perspiration keeping it close to skin while maintaining high breathability. The resulting cooling sensation is akin to a swamp cooler. Far superior to other ‘cooling’ fabrics which provide only sensory cooling, Polartec Delta fabric technology provides true metabolic cooling which actually lowers core temperature, and because of this science-based construction, it never sticks to you, no matter how hot and sweaty it gets.
4-way knit stretch, high-cut armholes and underarm panel construction provide optimal range of motion and ultimate freedom of movement. A thoughtfully designed drop tail hem means your lower back stays covered even during high intensity training.
