The result is a complete system that, like François himself, is purposeful, and ready to take on an entire mountain in a single day. “It was rewarding to see the products evolve just as I’d imagined,” he explains. “With innovative materials and a focused design team, we created a full kit that uses only 40% of the volume in our 30L L.I.M ZT 2.0 backpack. It’s really an awesome result!”

The L.I.M ZT II Air Top, Bottom, Base, Cap, Beanie, and Balaclava all leverage the patented knit structure of Polartec® Delta™ to hold moisture where it’s needed for evaporative cooling while promoting airflow and reducing cling. The L.I.M ZT II Air Mid, on the other hand, takes a hybrid approach, combining Polartec® Delta™ and Polartec® Power Dry™ fabrics for enhanced versatility. Here, the cooling ability of Polartec® Delta™ is matched with the quick-drying performance of Polartec® Power Dry™, whose bi-component knit construction rapidly wicks moisture away from the skin and distributes it across the fabric’s surface for faster dissipation. The result is a complete system of lightweight, breathable staples that can take abuse, dry fast and stay in the game.
