Main Story. 03. 15.
Santini is celebrating the most iconic of the great Classics with two special Paris-Roubaix collections for men and women. Using Polartec® NeoShell®, the world’s most breathable waterproof technology, these brightly coloured cycling pieces are designed to perform, keeping the rider comfortable on what the French call "the hell of the north."
Santini is launching two new ranges: the Paris-Roubaix line and the L’Enfer du Nord capsule collection. Both ranges use Polartec NeoShell waterproof technology which delivers unrivalled breathability. Historically excessively high waterproof ratings have ruled the market but to the detriment of breathable performance. The result is an uncomfortable, wet experience inside your waterproof during physical activity. By engineering optimal pore size and placement, NeoShell® releases heat and perspiration without high pressure build up. Continuous air exchange enhances natural thermoregulation, while still providing the needed protection from all outside elements. NeoShell not only provides the strength and durability of a weather protective fabric but also incorporates stretch for a comfortable full range of motion. It really is the perfect fabric for waterproof cycling apparel.
Santini’s Paris-Roubaix range: features graphics inspired by the colours and patterns used on the race route to mark out the cobbled sectors and rate their difficulty. The collection spans three women’s and three men’s items: jersey, bib shorts and a technical t-shirt for everyday use.
Santini’s L’Enfer du Nord (the hell of the north) Capsule Collection: in recognition of the French nickname ‘Hell of the North’ this collection uses colours related to the fires of hell. A salute to the hellishly difficult stretches that cyclists face in the very tough five-start sectors.
The collection is available from select cycling retailers worldwide and www.santinicycling.com from 11th March.
