Polartec has been making fabrics using recycled content for over 25 years and consequently, in that time have saved over 2 billion plastic bottles from landfill. The jerseys will use a recycled version of Polartec Power Dry®. This fabric has long been a favorite for cycle brands the world over because of its [advanced next-to-skin moisture management](https://www.polartec.com/fabrics/base/power-dry). Using a bi-component knit construction it manages to utilize every fiber, delivering maximum efficiency. Intense activity gives rise to perspiration which needs to be managed when in a competitive environment. Polartec Power Dry® efficiently does this by pulling moisture away from the body quickly and transferring it to the outer surface for fast evaporation during activity ensuring the rider remains comfortable. Santini will provide UCI World Champions with these new jerseys using Polartec recycled content. In order to be completely “ECO”, all the jerseys will also be delivered in compostable packaging.
